How to upload and configure a Custom Minecraft 1.17 - 1.17.1 JAR file (Java 16)

Here at Host Havoc, we provide our Minecraft server hosting clients with the ability to upload and set their own JAR files.

To upload/set your own JAR file, follow these steps:
Step 1: Set up an FTP client to manage the server's files: https://hosthavoc.com/billing/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=35
Step 2: Download the JAR file that you'd like to run on your service
Step 3: Upload the JAR to the server's main (base) directory and rename the JAR file to custom-java-16.jar
Step 4: Navigate to the Multicraft control panel and find the setting labeled 'JAR File'
Step 5: Select 'Custom JAR File for Java 16' from the dropdown box
Step 6: Save the changes and restart the server

If you are just wanting to run vanilla Minecraft 1.17 you only need to select Vanilla: 1.17 from the dropdown list in the 'JAR File' section.
