How to log into your cPanel FTP

In this article, we will go over the steps of accessing your web hosting service's FTP server.

Step 1: You will need an FTP program first; we suggest using FileZilla which can be downloaded here.
Step 2: Next, you will need to sign in to your cPanel account. Once you've signed in you will need to click on FTP accounts under "Files".

Step 3: From there you can create a new FTP account user by entering the details you desire in these fields.

Step 4: You can now view your FTP details on how to sign in to your client with the information provided.
FTP Username: yourusername
FTP Password: yourpassword
FTP server: ftp.yourwebsite.com
FTP & explicit FTPS port: 21
