Published June 8, 2026 · By Host Havoc Technical Support Team

Use the settings below to configure a desktop or mobile email client such as Outlook, Thunderbird, or Apple Mail. If you prefer browser-based email, you can access Webmail directly without any configuration.

Mail server settings

SettingValue
Incoming mail servermail.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail servermail.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com
Outgoing (SMTP) port25 or 26
UsernameYour full email address
PasswordYour email account password

Note: Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name in all of the above values.

For the most reliable setup, use the following ports with SSL/TLS enabled:

  • IMAP (incoming): 993 with SSL
  • POP3 (incoming): 995 with SSL
  • SMTP (outgoing): 465 with SSL, or 587 with STARTTLS

Tip: Use IMAP rather than POP3 if you access your email from multiple devices. IMAP keeps messages on the server and syncs across all clients.

Configuring your email client

  1. Open your email client's account settings and choose to add a new account manually.
  2. Select IMAP or POP3 as the account type.
  3. Enter the server names and ports from the table above.
  4. Enter your full email address and password.
  5. Save and test the connection.

Once your client is connected, you can also set up an email signature from Webmail if you prefer a browser-based configuration.
