How to Create and Add a GSLT for Your Insurgency: Sandstorm Server

A Game Server Login Token (GSLT) is required to run your Insurgency: Sandstorm server. The token ties your server to your Steam account and must be added to your panel before the server will start publicly.

Create the GSLT on Steam

1. In your Host Havoc game panel, click the Create GSLT icon.
2. Log in to your Steam account when prompted.
3. Enter 581320 as the App ID (this is the Insurgency: Sandstorm dedicated server App ID).
   
4. Submit the form. Steam will display your token.
5. Copy the token and keep it somewhere safe.

If you receive an error on Steam: You may need to add a phone number to your Steam account before tokens can be generated. Visit https://store.steampowered.com/phone/add to add one, then retry.

Add the GSLT to your server panel

1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
2. Click Commandline Manager.
3. Enable the GSLT option and paste your token into the GSLTToken field.
4. Click Save, then start your server.

Troubleshooting

• Token rejected: Confirm the App ID used was 581320. Tokens generated for a different App ID will not work.
• Steam login error: Ensure the Steam account used to generate the token owns a copy of Insurgency: Sandstorm or has the dedicated server tool in its library.
