Reinstall Your Empyrion Server

Reinstalling your server wipes all files and replaces them with a fresh default install, as if the server were brand new. Use this when troubleshooting persistent issues or when you want a clean start.

Before you start: All server files will be deleted except backups. Download any files you want to keep before proceeding.

Steps

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel.
  2. Stop your server.
  3. Click the More button.

  4. Click Reinstall.

  5. Click the Reinstall button to confirm. Keep the Default values option selected unless you have a specific reason to change it.

The panel will delete all current server files, download a fresh copy of the game server files, and set up a default configuration. This process may take several minutes depending on the size of the game files.

Once complete, your server will have a clean install and default settings.
