How to Enable Floating Damage and Cave Flyers on ARK

Several ARK: Survival Evolved options are set through the command line rather than a config file, including floating damage text, force allow cave flyers, and the override official difficulty value. You can toggle them on the command line you already use, or on a new custom one.

Method 1: edit your selected command line

1. Log into the game panel and open the Command Line Manager.
2. Click Selected on the command line you use. If none is selected, click Select on the command line for your map first, then edit it.
3. Tick ShowFloatingDamageText for floating damage, tick Force Allow Cave Flyers to allow flyers in caves, or set a value for Override Official Difficulty.
4. Save the command line.

Method 2: create a custom command line

1. In the Command Line Manager, open the Custom Commandlines tab and click New.
2. In the Server Map field, enter the map you are running. See loading a map or DLC for the map codes.
3. Set the same toggles, save, and click Select.
