Disabling Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) is required when running overhaul mods like Darkness Falls that are not compatible with EAC. Follow the steps below to turn it off on your server.

Before you start: Stop your server before editing the config file.

Steps to Disable EAC

  1. Log in to your Game Control Panel.
  2. Stop your server if it is running.
  3. Click Configuration Files, then click Text Editor or Config Editor for serverconfigmain.xml.
  4. Locate the EAC option and change its value to disabled.

  5. Save the file.
  6. Start the server.

Note: If you are running a mod that requires EAC to be disabled, you must also disable EAC in your local game client. Check the mod's documentation for the correct steps.
