Em servidores Windows fica em steamapps/common/PalServer/Pal/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/PalWorldSettings.ini, e no Linux em .../Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini. Não edite o DefaultPalWorldSettings.ini — o jogo ignora mudanças nesse arquivo; ele apenas documenta os padrões.

Por que minhas configurações não estão sendo aplicadas?

As três causas comuns: você editou o DefaultPalWorldSettings.ini em vez do PalWorldSettings.ini; o servidor estava rodando durante a edição (as configurações só são lidas na inicialização — reinicie-o); ou o painel da sua hospedagem gerencia o arquivo e sobrescreve edições manuais — nesse caso, altere as configurações pelo painel.

Como aumento XP, taxa de captura ou loot?

A maioria das configurações de equilíbrio são multiplicadores em que 1 é o padrão do jogo. ExpRate=2 dobra a experiência, PalCaptureRate=1.5 facilita bastante as capturas, EnemyDropItemRate=2 dobra o loot. Os controles acima indicam se a mudança deixa o jogo mais fácil ou mais difícil.

Como faço os ovos chocarem mais rápido?

Reduza PalEggDefaultHatchingTime — é o tempo de incubação em horas dos ovos enormes (os menores escalam a partir dele). Defina 0 para chocar na hora, ótimo para projetos de reprodução sérios.

Quais configurações podem prejudicar o desempenho do servidor?

As principais são PalSpawnNumRate (mais Pals selvagens para simular), BaseCampWorkerMaxNum e BaseCampMaxNum (mais Pals trabalhando e mais bases) e DropItemMaxNum (mais itens pelo mundo). Aumente aos poucos e acompanhe a CPU.

Pare o servidor antes de editar, substitua o conteúdo do arquivo pela saída gerada e inicie o servidor novamente. As configurações só são lidas na inicialização — um servidor em execução não aplica mudanças.
