About Renown: Medieval survival with full-loot PvP

Renown is a medieval survival game from RDBK Studios, in Steam Early Access since September 2025. You start with basic tools, work up a tech tree through gathering and crafting, build and upgrade a base, and fight other players in melee and ranged combat with full loot and base raiding. Your own dedicated server keeps the world and everyone's bases running around the clock, under rules you set instead of an official server's.

Rates, access, and rules in Game.ini

Renown's server settings live in Game.ini: server name, password, player cap, and admin password, plus multipliers for resource gain, crafting, smelting, decay, and respawn times. Game.ini also handles ping limits and idle kicks, and Engine.ini has a first-person-only switch. On Host Havoc you edit both files from the control panel or over FTP, then restart to apply.

Built for Early Access updates

Renown is patched often, and players need the server on the same version as their game to join. Your Host Havoc server launches on the latest build, and automated backups give you a restore point if a patch affects your save. Official mod support is planned but not available yet.
