How to Change Your Valheim Server Name

Your Valheim server's display name is set in the Command Line Manager. Changing it takes effect after you save and select the updated command line.

Steps

1. Log into the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
2. Click the Command Line Manager button.
   
3. Click Select on the "Default" command line.
4. Locate the Server Name field and update it to your preferred name.
5. Click Save to save the command line.
6. Click Select on the right-hand side of the page to apply it.

Restart the server for the new name to appear in the server browser. You can also adjust the server password from the same editor. See Change Server Password if you want to update it at the same time.
