How to Use Console Commands in Satisfactory

The Satisfactory in-game console lets you run commands to adjust gameplay and server behavior without editing config files. For editing config values directly, see how to edit server settings.

Open the console

Press the ~ key (tilde, also written as `). This key is usually located to the left of the 1 key on your keyboard.

Pressing the key cycles through three stages:

  • Stage 0: Console closed.
  • Stage 1: Small command-line window at the bottom of the screen.
  • Stage 2: Large window with a command line and log output at the top of the screen.

Run a command

  1. Open the console to Stage 1 or Stage 2.
  2. Click the command-line input field.
  3. Type your command and press Enter.

Troubleshooting

Console does not open: Confirm that no other keybinding is using the tilde key. Some keyboard layouts may require pressing Fn + ~.
