How to Set Up Your Satisfactory Server

This guide walks you through the initial configuration of your new Satisfactory dedicated server so that you and your friends can start playing.

Before you start: Make sure your server is running in the game panel before proceeding. Once set up, you can join your server at any time.

  1. Log in to the Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
  2. On your server's dashboard, copy the Connection Info and confirm the server status shows Running.

  3. Launch Satisfactory on your computer and click Server Manager.

  4. Click Add Server.

  5. Enter the Connection Info you copied in step 2. For example, if your Connection Info is 103.1.213.69:7782, the Address is 103.1.213.69 and the Port is 7782.

  6. Click Confirm to save the details. If a Server Certificate Warning appears, click Confirm to proceed.

  7. A popup will ask you to enter a name for your server. Fill this out and click Confirm.

  8. You will be asked to set an Admin Password. Enter your desired password and click Confirm.

  9. Click the Create Game tab. Select a Starting Area for new players, enter a Session Name, and click Start Game.

  10. A confirmation screen will display your server configuration. Review the details and click Confirm.

Your server will now create the session, which can take a few minutes. Once complete, your server is ready to play. You can set a server password to restrict who can join, or set up automatic restarts to keep things running smoothly.
