How to Reset Map and Player Data on Your DayZ Server
Deleting the storage_1 folder wipes the server's map state (loot positions, structures, vehicles) and player inventory data for the selected map. This is commonly done before a scheduled wipe or after changing the map.
Warning: This action permanently deletes all saved player and world data for the selected mission. Make sure to back up any files you want to keep via FTP before proceeding.
Steps
Step 1: Log into the Game Control Panel and navigate to your DayZ service.
Step 2: Stop your server if it is running.
Step 3: Click the File Manager icon and navigate to the mpmissions folder.
Step 4: Open the folder for your active map mission:
| Map | Mission folder |
|---|---|
| Chernarus | dayzOffline.chernarusplus |
| Livonia | dayzOffline.enoch |
Step 5: Right-click the storage_1 folder and select Delete.
Step 6: Start your server. A fresh storage_1 folder will be created on startup.
Note: Only the
storage_1folder is deleted. Your config files, mission files, and mod folders are not affected.
