How to Join Your BeamMP Server

Connect to your BeamMP server directly by IP and port, or find it in the public server browser. Before joining, make sure you have added your authentication key so your server is visible and accepting connections.

Join from within the game

  1. Launch BeamMP.
  2. Click Multiplayer.
  3. Log in to your BeamMP account or select Play as Guest.
  4. Choose one of the following methods:
    • Click the Public Servers tab and search for your server by name.
    • Click the Direct Connect tab, enter your server IP in the top field and your port in the bottom field, then click Connect.

For example, if your connection info is 104.192.227.54:27018, enter 104.192.227.54 as the IP and 27018 as the Port.

Troubleshooting

  • Server not visible in the public list. Confirm your authentication key is set correctly in ServerConfig.toml. See Obtaining an Authentication Key.
  • Connection refused. Verify the server is running and that you are using the correct IP and port from the Game Panel.
