How to Set Up Automatic Restarts on Your Arma 3 Server

Scheduling automatic restarts keeps your Arma 3 server running smoothly by clearing memory and applying any pending updates. You configure this through the Scheduled Tasks feature in your Game Control Panel. You can also switch the branch if you need to change the server version.

Steps

1. Log into your Game Control Panel and navigate to your server.
2. Click the Scheduled Tasks icon on the left-hand side.
3. Click New, choose Scheduled Start/Stop/Restart, then click New in the section that appears.
4. Give the task a descriptive name and check the Enabled box.
5. Set the Type to Daily if you want the restart to occur at the same time each day.
6. Set the start date and time. This will be the time the restart runs every day.
7. Click Save.

Note: Advanced options such as action type and waiting until the server is empty are available in the Advanced Options section.

If you want the server to restart every 6 hours, check Repeat Task and configure the interval accordingly, as shown in the example below.
