Creating and Restoring Backups

The control panel automatically attempts to create a backup every night at 2:45 AM. Backups typically contain only save data and settings files.

Create a backup

1. Log into the Game Control Panel.
2. View your game service.
3. Click the Create Backup icon in your server's control panel.

Restore a backup

1. Log into the Game Control Panel.
2. View your game service.
3. Stop your server.
4. Click the Restore Backup icon in your server's control panel.
5. Select a backup from the dropdown list.
6. Press Run.

Backups are stored in the Backups folder on the server. You can download backup .zip files using the File Manager or an FTP client.

Note: You cannot upload files directly to the backups folder.

Restore a downloaded backup .zip

1. Use an FTP client to upload the zip to the main root directory.
2. Open the File Manager in the control panel.
3. Right-click the file and click Extract.

Extraction may take a few minutes.
