How to Enable Crossplay on Your 7 Days to Die Server

Updated 10 June 2026 · By Host Havoc Technical Support Team

Crossplay allows players on different platforms to join the same 7 Days to Die server. Enabling it requires both turning on the crossplay and EAC options in the config editor and keeping several gameplay values within the ranges that crossplay certification enforces. See our guide on changing the difficulty if you need to adjust any of those values first.

Before you start: Stop your server before editing configuration files.

Steps

  1. Log into your Game Control Panel and make sure your server is stopped.
  2. Click Configuration Files in the left-hand menu.
  3. Open serverconfigfull.xml in the Config Editor.
