How to Install and Setup Simple Voice Chat on your Minecraft Server (Forge/Fabric/Bukkit/Spigot/Paper)

This guide will walk you through the steps to install and configure Simple Voice Chat on both Forge and Fabric as well as Bukkit/Spigot/Paper Minecraft servers.

Warning!
You must install the mod on your client in order to use voice chat on the server.

If you're using Forge & Fabric the mod must be installed to connect to the server.

Forge & Fabric installation guide:

1. Download the Simple Voice Chat mod. Make sure you download the correct version that matches the Minecraft Version and type of server (Forge or Fabric).
2. Go to the Multicraft Panel and click "Files" > "FTP File Access" > Login using your information > Open the "mods" folder (If you do not have one create one).
3. Click "Upload" on the left side of the page.
4. Upload the Simple Voice Chat JAR File.
5. Once done you can start your server.

Bukkit/Spigot/Paper installation guide:

1. Download the Simple Voice Chat Plugin.
2. Go to the Multicraft Panel and click "Files" > "FTP File Access" > Login using your information > Open the "plugins" folder (If you do not have one create one).
3. Click "Upload" on the left side of the page.
4. Upload the Simple Voice Chat Plugin JAR.
5. Once done you can start your server.

Forge & Fabric configuration guide:

1. Make sure the server is stopped.
2. Go to the Multicraft Panel and click "Files" > "FTP File Access" > Login using your information.
3. Click Edit on the "server.properties" file.
4. Change "enable-query" to false.
5. Save the file and go back to the FTP File Access area.
6. Open "config" > open "voicechat".
7. Click Edit on the "voicechat-server.properties" file.
8. Find the line that says "port=24454". Replace "24454" with your server's port.
9. Save the file.
10. Start the server!

Bukkit/Spigot/Paper configuration guide:

1. Make sure the server is stopped.
2. Go to the Multicraft Panel and click "Files" > "FTP File Access" > Login using your information.
3. Click Edit on the "server.properties" file.
4. Change "enable-query" to false.
5. Save the file and go back to the FTP File Access area.
6. Open "plugins" > open "voicechat".
7. Click Edit on the "voicechat-server.properties" file.
8. Find the line that says "port=24454". Replace "24454" with your server's port.
9. Save the file.
10. Start the server!

The Simple Voice Chat mod should now be working on your server!
