Supporting Veterans Through Gaming: Host Havoc Teams Up with Stack Up

At Host Havoc, we believe in the power of gaming not just as entertainment, but as a force for good. That’s why we’re excited to announce our support of Stack Up, a leading nonprofit organization that uses video games to support the mental health and well-being of U.S. and Allied veterans.

As part of this partnership, Host Havoc is sponsoring a 100-slot Arma Reforger server and an 8GB VPS, which Stack Up will use to support their online programs, events, and community initiatives. These resources will help veterans connect through immersive, cooperative gaming experiences, offering both camaraderie and critical mental health support.

Gaming with Purpose

Stack Up’s mission is rooted in a powerful idea: that video games can change lives. For many veterans struggling with depression, PTSD, or isolation, games provide more than just fun—they offer a sense of community, purpose, and escape when it's needed most.

Their programs include:

• 🎮 Supply Crates: Care packages filled with gaming gear sent to deployed service members and veterans in need.
• ✈️ Air Assaults: All-expenses-paid trips to major gaming events, helping veterans build social connections and recharge.
• 🛡️ Stack Up Overwatch Program (StOP): A 24/7 mental health support line staffed by trained volunteers, available via Discord to anyone in the gaming community experiencing crisis or distress.

These programs are made possible by partnerships and community support - and we're proud to help make that happen.

A Meaningful Partnership

The dedicated Arma Reforger server we’re providing will give Stack Up a space to host military-style simulations and community events, while the VPS will support their backend tools, mods, and server management tasks. These contributions are designed to help them expand their reach and impact within the gaming and veteran communities.
